Case study

Altiva

A mobile-first iOS and Android concept for fractional aircraft owners that connects contract balances, guided trip requests, travelers and airport discovery in one coherent experience.

The story

  1. 01

    Before · The challenge

In fractional ownership, an owner holds a share of an aircraft under an agreement, often more than one, while someone else usually assembles the trip. The desktop-oriented experience had to become understandable on the go.

  2. 02

    My vision

One connected mobile journey where the active contract, the trip request, travelers, airports and status share context, so people can see what they are entitled to, what is available and how to arrange the next trip.

  3. 03

    After · The transformation

A designed concept: six areas under one active-contract context and a trip request built from five decisions, with “submitted” kept distinct from “confirmed”. It was not implemented or launched and no user research or testing informed it, so there are no results; the validation plan lists what would be tested.

  4. 04

    Key learnings

The work was not reducing screens. It was making the relationships between ownership, travel planning, traveler information and operational status clear.
